Any ideas what I can expect to pay a high end audio place to upgrade my audio system in a 2017 double cab? Wanting to keep the stock head unit, just added better/louder speakers and subs.

I literally JUST got a quote for this this afternoon. Only difference is that I have an access cab versus the double cab, but I think the only difference would be more dynamat, I think we have the same number of speakers. I got a quote for 2135 from Car Toys. The guys I spoke with today have their own Tacos that they have decked out and were all about it, however I'm going to shop around a bit and see what else I can find.

You can reasonably expect to pay money.

Your looking at roughly $1800 for a pretty good setup plus installation. If you can install yourself, then probably $1400 for a good setup. This is ballpark estimate.

As far as a setup goes can you keep the head unit with the nav and all that, And upgrade the rest of the system with good results?

Take a look at OEM+ and use the search feature.

That would be a question. I was interested in the OP's decision to upgrade as I have thought about it to. Therefore I asked if you can keep your head unit (the touchscreen) and upgrade the rest (being speakers wiring and adding an amp) of the system. Doing so would you get decent results?

Gotcha. Well with new speakers you will need amps to get the power for them so essentially yes, you can keep the factory head unit, but you or your installer will need to know how to wire everything.

define high end. Do you mean HAT Legatia, Morel, Focal, Scanspeak. Or do you mean JL C5, Hertz, etc. There is a big difference in price ranges depending on what you are looking for.

The jbl sadly isn't an option on the pro. It comes with the "premium audio". I have rockford speakers and might just install them off the oem head unit. I think it might hold me off for now. Hopefully the speakers help some.
