    Right.
Went down to the boat marina this morning with my coffee. The wind was whipping around pretty good. I didn't even get out of the truck.

just what I need to do what I want
    Hey guys and Miss Sue-
I don't always post but I do keep up on the reading-this thread is therapy for me! I feel like a fool sitting here laughing at my laptop, but it does help to take the edge of off life.
Quick question-if I wanted to paint my rims something other than black, what would y'all suggest? I have a color in mind, just would like to hear your ideas. Seeing some of your rigs I can tell you have good taste.
    Thanks for any input/ideas/smart-ass answers.

    That's on my wish list.
I think @Casper66 did his himself.
I want a bronze or flat tan myself. I guess a wheel paint or leftover gun epoxy paint.

when I was looking for my softtopper I wanted a tan one, then maybe tan rims to match. I found a used one for $250, but it was black. My buddy says my truck looks "tactical"-I don't like that "look".

Unlike many these days I'm still a fan of good ol fashion chrome. If I were going for paint I'd probably go with powder coating for the durability.

    Okay.
Yea bronze or tan would look cool I think.
I keep touching up my rock dings with white but I'd like a flat tan . No shine. And I'm not into black rims. Different strokes for different folks.

IMG_0463.jpg I think your truck would look nice with gunmetal wheels.I saw 16 with TRD gunmetal wheels on a white truck, looks sharp. Safe color color choice, easy to tie in with other accents. I would powdecoat, real durable. Or buy new wheels, but I'm gunmetal baised.

It had chrome "overlays"-kinda like form-fitted hubcaps on it when I got it from my dad (RIP pops, thanks for the truck). They always looked cheap to me, so I took them off. Powder coating would be good, but what color?

There's some photo shop gurus around here on TW (not me). Maybe post a full size profile pic of your truck.

Not enough to photo shop rims-but a good idea.
