Ok. I'm trying to route a wire to a new backup camera ...
I see a couple of places that might work but I've no idea how to actually do it.

There's a rubber grommet looking thing under the driver's side seat. Any idea how to put a wire through there?
Any other ideas of good places to run one?

    Thanks!

Sharp punch then push the wire through.

Through the grommet under the drivers seat is the best place. It's a PITA to get the RCA plug through, but it's doable. I ended up pushing a loop of scrap wire through and then using it to pull the video cable back through. I was afraid that pulling on the back of th RCA plug would break wires, but pushing it through just wasn't happening.

Use this to make a hole in the grommet. Then shove the wire through the hole. Keeps it watertight for the wire to go through.

Get someone to help you who has some experience at such things. Even if all they do is watch and give you instruction, it's worth the pizza and coke money for their lunch.

Most of us learn best by doing. After a few 'doings' it's easier for us to figure out the next project on our own.

Before long, if you have a bit of retention ability and logic, you can be the guy sitting in the shade with the free lunch.
