Yogi's Inferno Off-Road 4x4 DCSB

Hi Friends,

Thought I'd start a little build thread. I told myself I wouldn't touch my truck for at least year from the date of purchase, which was last week. Though I'm also really good at making bad decisions, haha. Just ordered a new set of Rotiform SIX-OR's, Nitto Tire Terra Grappler G2 and Icon Vehicle Dynamics stage 4 kit. Let the modding begin.

Did a little shoot before I start installing in the next few weeks.

 

Sub'd - waiting on my inferno to arrive. Anxious to see this one take shape.

My Rotiform SIX-OR has arrived . I'll be matching them either with a Nitto Terra Grappler G2 or Ridge Grappler. Icon S4 lift kit should arrive in the next week or two. I hope everything will go on before the end of the month. I had more parts I planned on purchasing, but another project came up which is priority at the moment, so I have to put the Tacoma on hold for a little while.

Hahaha, no take over. The Tacoma is gonna be very mild.... well, thats what I said about the GS. Anyways, the Lexus just went into storage. Sold the kit and we won't be able to fit it with the new kit until my bodyshop is free later this year. These are the only shots I have of them together.

 

I love all of the Phaze2 builds... Not a huge fan of extravagantly modified cars, but you guys have it figured out. I think You, Creaminz, and Jay are the only car accounts I follow on IG anymore.

Picked up my tires today from Nitto Tire.

285/70/17 Ridge Grapplers.

Now waiting for my Suspension from my friends at Icon Suspension!

 

Little late on the updates, but here they are.

Wheels are mounted up. Total 5 Rotiform SIX-OR on Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/17, one being a spare.

N-Fab rapid spare strap installed in the truck bed. Fairly simple install. Univeral kit. I wanted to get a bumper with tire carrier, but this won't allow me to park in my garage anymore. Personally, I don't need too much space and will be organizing a lot on my All-Pro Rack with gear rack. The spare should tuck away nicely.

Picked up a 50" curved LED light bar with Tacoma roof mounts, 30" Led Bar, (6) G3D Pods, (2) H11 Fog and Headlamp from my friends at GG Lighting (www.gglights.com). Their product has a lifetime warranty, they were recommended by a bunch of my friends that do desert racing. Heard nothing but good things so I thought I'd give them a shot. A few of them have been installed and I'm all smiles! I've installed the 50" LED bar, 2 of the 6 pods and both H11 Pairs into my headlights and fogs. The other 4 and the 30" will be installed as soon as my bed rack and my C4Fab bumpers and sliders arrive. Lights have been installed on a universal fusebox relay and wired to a 3 switch rocker panel.

Blue light rocker switch panel. Came in a pack of 5, but shortened it to 3 as they're detachable. I wanted blue because it matches a lot of the blue interior switches like the radio buttons.


Poor mans sPOD. Not as easy as plug and play, but it works for a quarter of the price.

mouted up and dropped it off to DPK Garage out in Hawaiian Gardens. I pick it up this Friday. Will mount up 2 rotopax mounts on each side, highlift on the inside storage rack (not shown in photos), 4 LED floods and CB radio antenna.



Visited my friends at Icon Vehicle Dynamics and picked up my Stage4 kit with tubular UCA's.

Got my new Relations Race Off-road bumper with a 30" GGLighting LED to match!

My friends at Relations Race Wheels have been developing a few armor pieces recently and got a hold of one of the first of their bumpers for the 3rd gen Tacoma and it's impressive. It's also super convenient because they're locals to LA/OC and was able to pick it up from their warehouse. We'll be cutting and chopping tomorrow and I'll have an update for you guys Sunday evening.

 

It hurt me to cut up a 3 month old car but it was worth it! Mounted up my Relations Race bumper and wired up my LED bar.

 

Looks badass!
