Locker/Long Bed

Are the Tacoma TRD Sport double cab, long bed available with locking rear differential?

Find threads that say locking diff in short box only, could be on older trucks too.

Drove a short bed 4dr TRD today and now its down to a long bed TRD or short bed Limited. Just have to decide between leather or long box.

Forgot to ask if locking diff was available on the TRD Sport long bed.

Any input is appreciated.

 

No the 3rd gen sport does not have a locking diff.

 

Electronic auto limited slip on Trd sport , Trd off-road longbed only comes in 4x4 and has eletronic locking diff

 

Cheaper to buy a TRD OR Long bed and swap hoods than to install a locker on the sport. Plus the suspension on the off road is better anyway.

 

Guess I should have worded it a bit different.

I should have asked if limited slip available not locker.

Is this something standard from Toyota on most or all of it's Tacomas other than Off Road or Pro?

 

Yes sport comes with limited slip

 

It's ELECTRONIC limited slip.. Not even close to a real LSD
