    We did get our picks, nothing for Alaska in my class. There is another class a week behind us and they had an Alaska pick. I think it was for Anchorage though.

    I'm gonna step away from that grenade.

    I know a few people up there and I've been good at avoiding it this far but I'm sure if I'm fortunate to pick up CWO next year I'll be going there or HQ.

    I keep track of the Guard on various Facebook pages. I see all the 378s I served on are gone to third world navies. The Morgenthau even went to the NVA who tried to blow her out of the water 50 years ago. Shit.
