One of the few complaints of my 3rd gen is that the cup holders are too fall to fit my 32 oz yeti and hydroflask. Only my 18 oz fits but that's not enough water for the longer trips. Just want to know if other members have this issue and what they've done.

This is my current fix and it seems better than the bottle rolling around everywhere. I've seen the adapters but is there anything else?

As a functioning human being there are all SORTS of ways to solve this problem. Throw a backpack with a hydration system in the back seat. Downsize your yeti 106 ouncer mega growler grizzly edition. Always keep a 2 gallon handy in the backseat and refill. Hire a water truck for a chase truck no matter where you go, that way you're ALWAYS sure to be hydrated. Let a backpack ride shotgun and keep your bottles in there. Coffe mug thing sits in the cup holder and nalgenes in the backpack. The possibilities are endless considering the room in the truck and the thousand cup holders that exist IN it.

It drives me absolutely crazy that my 21oz Hydroflask is about .001" too big to fit perfectly in the cup holder. I feel like it shouldn't bother me as much as it does, because it is still secure in there--but it does. I think the yetis are the same size.

That might be my biggest gripe with this truck. The cup holders are .001" too small.

If one 18oz hydroflask isn't enough... how about 5 of them? They fit in every cupholder.

Heck, I think they fit in the door slots. So how about 13 of them?

That is strange. Mine fits in the cup holders in front of the gear shift just fine.

You created a thread about cup holders...

Guess it's time to sell the truck. What a piece of shit.

...or just buy a cup that fits

Glad to know i am not the only one. so frustrating that i have to consider the damn cup i am using for my effing truck now. my civic had larger cup holders, the hyrdoF fit perfectly. How does a TRUCK have smaller cup holders? also, look simply at the design and you will see there is more room to expand the size without losing any room in the cabin. its almost unbelievable

1st morning with my truck I pulled my Stanley coffee thermos out of the holder and walked into work... get halfway to the time clock someone asked what was on my mug... it was the rubber holder hahah.. now I just make sure I use my pinky finger to push against the holder while I grab the mug... other things I do is put larger bottles against the seat and door.. just make sure it can handle a fall in case you forget it's there
