Hey guys, glad to be here. I worked for Lexus for a few years, selling cars - so knowing the quality of their vehicles (Toyota Product) I decided to go with a Tacoma last weekend. I grew up driving SUV's (X-Terra and Pathfinder), so after working at Lexus and owning multiple Luxury Sports cars (RC350 and 2 IS350's), I decided to go back to a truck chassis. I will tell you one thing, if Lexus had a truck in their line-up for 2017, this would be the truck. Man is this thing a smooth ride. Obviously the difference in power from a fast sports car is something to get used to, but like I said, I've always had SUV's. Much more versatile then a 2 door sports car with a trunk you can barely fit a tire in. Sometimes when hitting speed bumps too fast in one of my prior SUV's, it produced an awful sound like the suspension was slamming down. Not with this new truck. The suspension of the 4x4 off-road is insane. It absorbs anything that is thrown at it (on the pavement that is, since I have not been off-roading with it yet). I am excited to read through the threads and be able to post anything here and know I will get some good responses. Thanks in advance to your guys knowledge and advice. Cheers -
