so i have a 2.7l 5-speed that shuts down while driving down the road. i was driving down the road at about 50-60 and the oil light began to flicker. when i put it in neutral the rpms dropped to 0 the truck shut down. i noticed some milky/frothy oil at the top of the oil cap and at the PCV. However after the trucked had been sitting for a day i drained about a quart of oil and it looked clean. i replaced the PCV valve but it didn't help. the truck isn't overheating but i think this might be a head gasket problem. Could anyone help me out here? id like to find the true problem before i just start tearing down the engine, Thanks.

    Compression check.

    Cooling system pressure test.

However, none of your described symptoms scream head gasket, so I don't know why you are there?
