I think I'd rather do that than try to paint mine!

 

Mine's pulled over 90 a few times, with ease. Just got back from a 2000+ mile road trip in the Southwest, with lots of desert winds and grades on I-15 and CA-14, 395 and 58. Truck ran great, got decent mpg, but did get passed by a few Cadillacs. I also passed a few pulled over by highway patrol, so I guess we're even. I also got my truck dirty on some roads I sure wouldn't take a CTS on, but of course that's why I got a Taco.

I have used all kinds of different wax. I keep going back to the one that is the easiest to use and gives the best shine/protection. It's called Liquid Glass. Don't be shocked with the price because you will wax your truck a bunch of times with one can. I waxed my Packard, and both Hondas 4 times each with one can. Don't be afraid to wax the whole truck, windows and all (not windshield) before removing. You can even use it in direct sunlight. Yesterday the wax on & off took 45 minutes.
