I will be purchasing extended travel Kings for my 2017 DCSB 4wd Tacoma soon. I am trying to decide if I can run the 700lbs springs for around 6 months without a plate bumper. I do not want to have to replace the springs in 6 months when I get a bumper. Will the 700lbs be to harsh for the time between? I will have sliders for a little added weight. Has anyone ran the 700lb springs a OEM bumper?

    Thanks!

I wouldn't say harsh, it will be firm though. When I installed my Icon's with everything else being stock, it made it feel more like a big truck (like a F250 or other larger truck with firm suspension) versus a car-like suspension. Once the bumper was added, it did soften it up. I never felt that it was harsh at any time.
