    @jorasanu10 is going to join us also! Looking at the poll, we have 6 trucks that will be on this adventure. I will have to call the ranger office at big bend and talk to them about camping spots for this many trucks in the back country.

    I know NOTHING about cameras - but my wife and I want to get into photography.

    I don't want a cheap one - because when I get into it, I don't want to upgrade for a long time.

    I don't want a super expensive one - because were not going to be professionals.

    I have a Canon SL1. I'm a beginner but was told that the camera bodies aren't all too different, but to spend the money on good lenses.

    I think they were mostly saying to not overspend on the body as the technology hasn't progressed much in the last few years. Good lenses will do more for me than buying the latest camera model. This came from a former coworker who has since started doing professional photography. I'm sure good editing can also make a huge difference in the final product.

    I am actually going to leave on Tuesday after work, I have an aunt that lives in San Antonio, wednesday is my GFs B-Day so we are going to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, then early Thursday morning we are driving to Big Bend, hopefully we can get there by noon or 1pm.

    Bro you have been talking about that sound deadening for a while now. Also i talked to my buddy about making you a larger wind deflector, he was up for it. You may just have to get some measurements for him, or you might be best off swinging by his shop so he can look at it.

    Going to have some long exposures. I will make sure i walk in front of the camera very slowly! haha
    You want me to update the gear list or what?
    Oh also... Everyone should know that @ETXTacoma and his GF maybe joining us now! :boink:
    Definitely the lens can make a difference! Also lens filters!
