No worries! Just remember, I am very much an ametuer. There are people on this forum that are much better than I am.

    https://youtu.be/6I3jtQfd-sU

Here are the videos that I watch, and it's specifically for the D3400, but translates into most DSLRS

I think the most part that I'm outgrowing is the shutter and aperture. I would like something that does a bit better in low light. Of course, I'm sure that could be helped with better lenses. I'm just going to continue to grow with this photo, and save up for the next one by the end of the year for my Trans-Alaska road trip.

thanks, and yea I know there are, but tying to compare what ill be effective with, vs what theyre effective with and what I need to look at is like a 15 yr old whose never driven a car before asking a F1 driver what car he should consider! seems to be apples and oranges.

No worries! that sounds like a great trip! im mostly looking to get one so that I can take good pictures down in Patagonia when the fiancé and I head down there. Low light is actually one thing that I think I need. do the low light pictures come out really grainy?

Sold my D7100 a while back and picked up a Panasonic G85 4/3 mirrorless to mess around with and shoot some video as well as photos. already done some 16x20 prints with the G85, they came out pretty dang good.

hoping and saving for a Nikon D810 or whatever replaces that in the future.

Will upload some of my work soon.

United Airlines also asked to use one of my photos in advertisements, but they were trying to get rights to the photo for free... Not today United, i know ya have a budget for advertisements ha.

Went out and played with a 10 stop ND filter for the first time this weekend, it was a little challenging but a really fun learning experience

no filter on thisone, we have walked by it a ton of times and for some reason never noticed it

    I just used this:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GNAZJD4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It worked pretty well, I also have a few 6 stop filters for different lenses, I don't want to buy an entire kit just yet. When I do though I would go with a bracket style mount so I could focus and compose a little easier than with the screw on one.

    Thanks dude!

This is one of the shots I was really liking that I got. I love that you can clearly see the face of the GT driver as his is passing the prototype.

Ok, weird request time. Does anyone have a hi-res shot of a female leaning through a car window? From behind and preferably wearing jeans shorts?

Working on a patch and need that image to work off of. :boink:
