Cragar 16x8 soft 8 wheels?

Hey I am looking at potentially buying a set of these. I've heard that they will not fit without spacers? Which would be fine because I'm already using spacers with my stock wheels. I just don't want them sticking out 6 inches ..

Just wondering how far they would stick out in comparison to stock six lug wheels (without a spacer)

You WILL need spacers. I ran a set of 17s with 255/75R17 Duratracs with 1.25" spacers on my truck for about a year. I loved the look of them. I ran 9" wife's with 5" backspacing. They stuck out about an inch and a half past the flare. You'll probably stick out about a half inch since they're 8" wide with 5" backspacing.

Now for the bad news. Three of mine ended up bent. No idea how. But they were. I suspect all 4 were actually bent, but I had one replaced due to a "run in" with a Scion.

I kept chasing a vibration and couldn't figure out what was causing it. Tried rebalancing 3-4 times in as many months. Even gave up on clip on weights and put beads in them. Finally went to the local dealer my friend works at and hijacked their road force balancer. Used the machine to check the wheels for run-out. Three were a little over/under a half inch out of round.

Bought a set of aluminum Method NV wheels and swapped the tires and it's smooth as glass.

Maybe it was the weight of the truck combined with the increased leverage with the spacers (my guess) or maybe it was too small of a sidewall (shouldn't have been). I know a ton of Jeep guys who run them and never have a problem. But they usually weigh less, run no spacers, and 15" wheels with 35s. So I really don't know for sure.

You may be fine, that's just my experience with them. I'm honestly sad about it still. I miss those wheels. I loved them, but I couldn't get over the vibration.
