2.4 module caught fire , can I bypass the modules?

    96 tacoma 2.4L. standard cab 2WD 5spd.
    2kw inverter, BMW 200A. fuse panel and 13 collisions,11while parked.7 the first year I bought it 5th radiator, 3rd cylinder head 339,000.miles currently
    can I bypass the module on the air cleaner?
