    I know, I know.

This will limit the amount of flex for the rear end, but my truck will not be doing any rock crawling. The truck is used for going on the beach, and the occasional farm road/trail.

I would like to squeeze the last bit of life out of the stock Bilstein's in the rear if possible. I also don't want to risk damaging other parts be neglecting to put extended length shocks in the rear.

    The plan:

JBA UCAs, 887 coils, 5100 @0, and trim packer up front.
Icon progressive AAL in the rear.

It seems people are typically leaving in the factory overload leaf with the 887 coils in the front. Do I need longer U bolts or center pins? I have the ones that came with the AAL, but I would prefer to have everything accounted for before tearing apart the truck on the weekend.

This has probably been mentioned or asked before, but the search feature only gets me so far.

    Thanks,

    Chase

Thanks - did you leave your stock over load leaf in or remove it?

Left it in. I'm glad I did because I think the aal settles after a while

Did you have to order longer u bolts or center pins? I have the ones that came with the Icon AAL but I have no clue if they would be long enough to include the stock overload leaf.

Probably be cheaper just to buy a ubolt flip kit. I'm running some cheap pro comp shocks out back for a 2" to 3" lift.

    Cheaper in what respect?

If I need to order longer U bolts or center pins? I was hoping to be able to use the ones provided with AAL.

I found a post where a member used the U bolts supplied with the Icon AAL when keeping the overload leaf.

Last piece of the puzzle is that center pin.

I have the Icon stage 2 Lift with the AAL. Its good gave me about 2 inches or so.. I decided to throw out my Overload. However, in a short time i'm replacing the whole leaf pack with dakars.

Edit - I will say I was not able to keep my overload leaf due to it not aligning properly when we installed it.. Or else I would of kept it. More of a pain to have than anything else...
