Just got my first Tacoma here about 3 weeks ago. Bought a totaled 2011 Tacoma in great shape (other than the front end damage) and decided to fix her up. It had been hit on the front left, bending the first 6 inches of the left frame rail down. It looked like it could be pulled and forgotten, so I bit the bullet and paid for it. The guy who I bought it off of has been awesome, working with me to get the title figured out and throwing in some goodies with the truck. (It has been a roller coaster fighting with the insurance since it was recently totaled.)
With a little TLC though, she is up and running like a champ. New bumper, fender, flares, brackets, clips, pulled the frame, a little paint and it is a new truck.

When it was in the shop, the 4x4 light was on too. The truck wouldn't go into 4wd. This was what I was more worried about before buying the truck. not knowing much of the history of the truck I thought it could be anything. Spent an afternoon crawling around the drivetrain and found a connector disconnected on the transfer case. Boom problem solved. Can't wait to get this thing out in the dirt.IMG_0882.jpgIMG_0883.jpg IMG_0879.jpgIMG_0884.jpg

When everything is all said and done I think I'll be about $7500-$8000 into it. Truck, repairs, registration and all.
