Best mechanics gloves?

I like Mechanix Wear MGG-05-011 Grip Gloves for general work around the house, yard, truck, construction, maintenance, etc. I shop the chit out of them, usually find them on eBay or Pep Boys as cheap as anywhere.
Problem is they're popular and $20 a pair. MGG-05-011 is the XL size, which actually fit a human hand. I used the sizing chart initially, bought a pair to try, they fit. I buy 2 pairs a year. I can even get keys out of my jeans pocket with them on.

I like the grip glove, although those could be a close second, for about 1/2 the money.

 

Gloves suck up all kinds of oils and according to my current employer, harmful shit such as cadmium. I've worn Mechanix gloves until they start splitting and I think we should change them out sooner than a set of Mechanix gloves last.

While at Boeing they would issue us Flextech gloves by Wells Lamont, PN:Y9277, grew to like them so now I buy them by the bunch. There's other brands just like these, I'd buy either.

 

Doh, my bad. Those won't hold up to welding. They do for aviation sheetmetal work.

 

I have gloves i get through wprk for working in the cold of a 400000 sq ft cooler/freezer, but picking up 10 to 15k boxes a week i can usually get about 1 to 2 weeks out of them depending on which area i work in. Ill check the brand name and get back to you
