PIAA H-11

Got the PIAA H-11's today. From the ordering to shipping. It was fast.

The packaging was very good. Each bulb in its own box. Each box wrapped in light foam.

Now taking the bulbs out of the light was fairly easy. Just need to know how to hold the wire and the end of the bulk to get wire off. Now the driver side was easier then the passenger side.

Took a picture of before (Which is the first pic) I switched the bulbs.with fogs on.

The second pic is of the new bulbs. Without fogs.

Can see a difference. The factory bulbs are a warm/ Soft yellow.

But now you add the PIAA H11'S it's more of a bright white.

This is a very easy switch out. Add's better light for better vision.

 

Im pretty sure mine arrive today too.\ but not home to install these. It looks like they have much less throw and what is that dark area in the front of the truck. Could it be that these are not optimized to work with the reflectors in the Stock headlights?

There it is. Makes a whole lot of difference. Also the second shot has the fogs off. First one fogs on. I'll take pic tomorrow night with fog on with new bulbs.

 

Interesting. I've got a '15 so it i wonder if that dead spot right in front of your truck and the parabolic flares will show up with my lenses too. PIAA says 3600K temp. These look much closer to 5000K temp bulbs.

What fogs you running

 

Standard h11. Fab fours gaurd. Removed the plastic bumper and reused the h11 from factory bumper. May switch over to these PIAA For fogs as well.
