1 inch body lift with 33s ?

Anyone ever try to do 1 inch body lift with 33s ?

 

I have a .5" body lift and 33s

With a 2.5" suspension lift

 

No, but I was thinking about how this would work today.

 

Did you do a CMC still?

 

Check out my build, Im running a 1.5" BL with 33's
Going on 4 years now. Put it on shortly after I bought my baby brand new

 

I have 255 wide tires, so no need for CMC with stock rims.

 

need for a cab mount chop wont change with body lift.

 

CMC is frame clearance, Body lift only lifts body. Frame and suspension remain in same position

 

When doing a small body lift, what needs to be changed other than the bed/frame skirts?

 

I didn't change anything except the cab mounts

 

If you go with a 1" or bigger, be sure you either re mount the ABS wires higher, or you extend the wires before you install the lift. I tore mine, that how I discovered this. they are easy to unpin and extend. You could also leave them unmounted from the body.

You also dont need bed frame skirts. I have gone 3 years with no skirts in my back end. Up front I ordered a roll of epdm, used a pizza box to made a stencil and made some new splash guards.
