upper radiator hose 5VZ-FE V6

how hard is it change the upper radiator hose on the 5VZ-FE V6? it looks pretty simple. but then again, i've had some "easy" looking projects that turned into nightmares. looks like all you need is a new hose and a pair of channel locks.
any secrets? how much coolent will i lose when i disconnect the hose? kinda want to do it myself to save a few bucks.

 

x2......let the radiator cool down a tad then take the clamps and hose off. i recommend replacing the clamps with screw type clamps.....dont trust them spring clamps too much.

 

thanks for the input guys. i just didn't know what the risk was of causing an air lock in the cooling system and leading to a bigger problem.
