I have shamefully put 175K on an 06 4.0 Automatic 4wd, without ever having the transmission flushed or serviced in any way. I have been really good about PM on the other parts of the truck. Once again the dealer is recommending a BG transmission service flush. which pumps in a cleaning solvent then replaces the fluid. I probably should have done this about 100K ago but never have. My concern is that this will dislodge gunk/particles and push them into other nooks and crannies of the transmission and create other problems. Should I have this service done ($250) or keep rolling. I have never had/noticed transmission issues. The truck has been great for the past 11 years, the only thing I have had to replace to speak of is U-Joints.

    thanks in advance
