I haven't done ceramic yet. I have visited detailers and got info on which one is best for the tacoma. They said to research ceramic pro and cs2 titanium. It would cost from 1500-2500 depending on the level I would want.

@ZachMX did the coating on your black Tacoma help minimize or stop swirl marks from occurring?

Anyone have any idea how often these need to be reapplied? I had one done 6 months ago, and it is utterly amazing, but it would be nice to know when I should take her back in for another run.

What brand did you apply? The biggest factor in longevity imo is how often you "touch" the coating. Washing weekly? Monthly? Never? Is it garaged? Are you periodically using a "coating booster"? There's a whole host of factors that come into play regarding longevity. You should certainly get a year. Maybe 2-3 years tops?

It all depends on brand and what they recommend. Also, some companies make a booster to help with beading. I feel comfortable saying I got 1-1.5 years out of Optimum Glosscoat

Shouldn't be a ton if that's all it is, most people get their vehicle detailed at the same time.
