I have the Rotopax on my mid-height rack. I have to figure out how to mount the Maxtrax to the other side.

I was thinking about maybe using it to hold the maxtrax brackets? Im not above re-purposing something else for my needs :)

That could work, among other ways. The MaxTrax should be pretty easy to mount.

Excuse me if this is a dumb question, but technically you wouldn't be able open the tonneau cover, correct?

Now I'm wondering if its possible to use this rack with the optional mounts and use a rollable tonneau cover for those who want the best of both worlds.

How did you mount your rotopax? Did they fit perfectly in the holes of the rack?

No, I had to drill new holes for the Rotopax mounts, but it was simple. No additional brackets, just some new holes in the side plate.

You can't open the cover the rack in place, all access would be through the tailgate.

If you had a roll-up cover, it could open until it hit the back legs of the rack, so it could go right up to the end of the factory accessory rail.

Any pictures of a mid height looking out the back window. Wondering what kinda of reduction in vision there is

Hopefully a customer can provide that shot, I don't have my rack on the truck at the moment.

Visibility out the back window is not bad at all though.

    Hey Chad,

Sorry to bother, just checking in to see if there might be any update for an order I placed a little while ago (order #00984)
    Thank you!

We're getting parts from the laser cutter hopefully in under 10 days, then it will ship right away.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick reply. I know it hasn't been that long but just knowing that it's coming soon has me on pins and needles!

Thought I would share with everyone.. I threw up rotopax on one side (with room to double each tank up), and a shovel and axe mount on the other. think it looks decent and the mounting to this rack was simple:

Maybe I should have washed her first!! I will post some more pics up whenever this roof top tent gets here (and the pull out rack I got from you 10 minutes ago as well).
