    I liked my tuneable Firestiks. Some CBs have built in SWR meters also, worth looking into for tuning. I thiiiiiiink they're pretty good.

    Depending on your needed range, maybe that's plenty good enough. I'd get that sucker tuned first and then see if you'd benefit from either a different antenna or if you just need a better location for it to be used.

    Or neither. I had a local shop do mine, back in the day.
