I've got a Magnetic Gray, 2012 access cab. Want to change out he steel wheels when these tires wear out.

Please post your setup with chrome wheels (or polished aluminum). Trying to decide what to buy.

Chrome is the wrong word choice when you're talking about Tacomas.

I kind of thought so. But can't decide on which new wheels to go with.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Black wheels are all the rage around here; its the trend. Chrome hate (all chrome) is a very popular sentiment too.

But look around. Some folks don't worry about trends or what the cool kids have, they just function independently. So you will find some chrome, polished, bronze, gunmetal, etc.

Size, style, offset, width, diameter all matter too.

Some wheels would look silly on lifted off road rigs, especially if they go offroad. But the same wheels would be sweet on a street ride.

You have to decide what you want the truck to 'be' to make your best choice.

Take your time. Instant gratification is the enemy of your wallet. ;)

I'm kind of partial to the OE TRD wheels in silver my self. But they don't come in a 5 lug pattern.

There's a guy down the road from me that has an older 2nd gen taco with some polished aluminum wheels, and it looks really clean. Looks like this one, same color too.
