First time Tacoma owner with specific questions regarding towing. What exactly does overdrive mean ? Does it mean d4 d3 or what ? Also does anybody know how much a Prerunner weighs ? inside door panel states the trucks gvwr is 5400 lbs, so if the gcwr is 10860 lbs does that mean I should buy a tt that has a gvwr of 5460 lbs or less ?

First, my 07 DCSB V6 pre runner weighs about 4400 pounds. I've towed 5000 pounds with it with no problems. I tow my 19' bass cat all over, weights about 3500 or so, not a problem.
