Hi, I am getting ready to finish my homemade front plate bumper and need to figure out the supplies and steps to paint it. What do I need to do, and what kind of paint and primer should i get. What else do I need. All spray paint. Any other tips? Thanks

With steel items, I've always used a red oxide primer first-it adheres well to surfaces that aren't perfectly clean, and it contains rust preventatives. Then I did a high build primer to smooth it out. Then spray paint truck bed liner.
