Dragonauts Weekend Warrior Build

After spending the last few months looking at trucks I finally ordered a new 3rd gen and I will be taking delivery next week.

2017 TRD Offroad Access Cab in Magnetic Gray Metallic. Auto Trans. "Fully Loaded" except I did pass on the tech package.

I chose the ac based on the fact that I would rather have a 6 ft bed for work and hauling bikes / gear then the extra passenger room. I don't have any kids ( as far as I know haha ) so I like to call it the "dog and a gf" configuration. Hopefully I won't regret buying an auto after years of driving stick. Only time will tell.


Anyways lets get to the fun part! I have been working on a theoretical build sheet to bring the truck up to spec to my functional needs / taste. The overall concept is a truck that will be a reasonably comfortable daily driver for freeway and city driving. Used for home depot runs and putting around m-f and moderate wheeling on my days off ( Joshua Tree, Mojave, Moab) I also snowboard a lot in the winter so I plan on factoring in winter / snow capability.

Build sheet is in tentative stages but I think it is a good outline so far. All suggestions, recs. , comments, h8 totally welcomed !

BUILD SHEET :

Suspension:

-Aftermarket UCA's
(TC, camburg, etc)
-Icon Stage 4 Resi shocks and coils
-OME or Deaver leaf pack

(Cab Mount Chop for tire clearance options in future)


Tires and Wheels:
- SCS Ray 10 Gunmetal or Method Double Standard Matte Black

-33" Toyo or BFG KO2
( Recs for good winter/ desert hybrid AT Tire?)


Armor ( All line x'd no powder) :

-CBI T3 Front Bumper
( add ridgid or baja lighting options)

- Pelfrey Bilt Rear Bumper

-All Pro "Apex Series" Sliders or SDHQ Sliders

- CBI Skidplate Pkg.


So thats the basic jist of it.

I have other little items to check off the list as well over time such as grill, roof mounted light bar ?, rotopax and recovery gear , etc..
