Cold beer sounds good right about now. Weekend was hectic, now dragging ass at work (3 more weeks).

This past Saturday in Tucson, I shot the NBRSA monthly match. Came home with two of the four trophies they had: Light Rifle highest Score and Light Rifle smallest groups. This old man was dialed in in some horrific mirage conditions.

Any other first gens have issues with brake lines? Just broke my second brake line this past weekend. The line actually broke free from the connection at the caliper. It's happened twice now, only full lock passenger and at bump. I didn't end up checking to see where it hits as I was kind of in a sketch spot. Anyone have any ideas?

Your brake lines are probably just too short :

The second set I just put on were some I got from @Mike330R. I'm pretty sure they were long enough. They were like 4 or 5 inches longer than the stock ones.

I'll post a picture once I get home tonight.

Best guess would be to get some new ones, and cycle your suspension and check for bind.

Is it possible that your tire is catching them at full bump?

I'd have to look. I never looked into that after the extended ones. The first set looked squished where the leak happened, as if it was compressed between the caliper and something like the coilovers.

Thanks in advance to everyone willing to help! It helps me out tremendously! I think I'm more excited to hang out with y'all again for the install than the actual parts themselves, lol

Anytime. It's what we are here for. And yes the hanging out part is usually what I get excited for.

Another first gen tundra was smashing is brake lines against the coilover's lower spring seat at bump and lock. It's possible despite sounding crazy.

That's exactly what I was thinking, but wasn't sure. I am running 2.5 coilovers, but never even thought that'd be an issue.
