Have the Fox 2.5 RR 3" lift Front and Fox 2.0 RR rears extended with dakar leaf packs. The rear is stiff till you get around 300 lbs in the bed then it starts riding smooth. Remember suspension is all a balancing act the more weight you load in the rear and shit the center of gravity the front will get stiffer. FYI at slower speeds under 30-40 mph the ride will be rougher than stock since the valving is greater. I wouldn't recommend going down to Fox 2.0 just the fact you reduce your oil capacity and the body material of construction isnt the same quality to hold up against corrosion. If you do go Fox 2.0 buy used.. you can find them half the price as new and just get them rebuilt for nothing. I would recommend going with 3" lift coilovers in case you ever wanted to bigger and extend travel rears shocks. The UCA are pricey but aren't needed till you push more than 2" lift so you can always upgrade later. Just to let you know your shocks will be the limiting factor in the rear for droop which is more important than compression since off roading is all about traction. My extended travel 2.0 3-5" lift are still the limiting factor on my dakar leaf pack.

whats nice is the coilovers are fully adjustable so you can change the ride height to sit how you want it. The less you crank down on them the better, since the more pre-load you put on them to raise the ride height, the shittier the ride will be

They will work but will be the limiting factor for droop. I have fox 2.0 RR extended travel for 3-5" lifts on dakar leafs and my shocks are still the limiting factor by 1-1.5" after brake line extension.

Do they even have them in stock? I was going to purchase the same kit but Marie said (and I checked with other vendors) that the fronts were not in stock and no ETA for shipping. I ended up with an Icon stage 1 kit instead.

Yeah if you are nose high might have to loosen them a bit. But it will def ride rougher the closer you get to 3inches

Totally different lift. However, I have the Icon stage 2 with TC's and their AAL and wish I would of just bought the suspension components separate and then a whole new leaf spring kit (IE: Dakars or All Pro expedition) with a all pro Ubolt flip kit with timbrens bumpstops & Ext break lines. That will be my next purchase... An AAL IMO is a band-aid for the time being until you realize you want more. Buy once cry once is a common phrase used on here :D Good luck man!

This is all good feedback, thanks. I'll definitely make sure to at least put some weight back there.

Are either of you running extended brake lines in the rear with the kit, or are the stock ones fine?

Marie just answered, and I should have just read the product page "Kit includes the following... Extended length rear brake lines"

I'm going with the Dakar packs, placing the order now. I'll reply back with my impressions.

We're closing on a new house tomorrow, so it'll probably be at least a few weeks. Don't wait up on my feedback. :ballchain:

Babies aren't too bad. Makes you appreciate your family and spouse more. Long-term, I've got two camping buddies too. I keep telling my older son (he's 3) that he'll get my truck as his first car in another 12 years. I'll need an excuse to upgrade to a gen 5 then anyways.
