    2005 tacoma sr5 trd 4x4
Hi I am new to the group and to the tacoma.

Last week bought a used 2005 tacoma sr5 trd 4x4 automatic. The previous owner had the transfer case actuator demolished when the axle can loose. Since he could not affort the actuator his mechanic glued the selector shaft to operate 4x2. the shaft is some what bent.
I would like to fix it to its original function so i can turn the nob 4x4 hi and lo ect.

i went to 2 toyota parts dealers and they have different part numbesr enough though i gave them the vin#

i wonder if the shaft that was glued is part of the actuator assembly or of the transfer case?

I would appreciate anyone out there who could shed some light thanks
