After 50 years of traffic nightmares, Louisville finally got the new bridge we needed for I 65 traffic. And they built TWO bridges. They are toll bridges until they're paid for. You aught to hear the ridiculous comments on THAT topic.

And of course, I wouldn't dream of getting on the radio and antagonizing them....

that's never gonna happen... the bridges wont get paid for by the tolls, because they have to pay people to work the tolls, and then by the time it gets close (if that were to ever happen) they will need to make repairs to the bridge, upgrade toll booths etc... plus they will have to hire people to do inspections for said repairs and upgrades, and they will have to hire someone to be in charge of hiring said inspectors, then they will have to hire someone to do the hiring and on and on and so forth and what have you

Well....sorta....No toll booths. All done with camera's and computers.....but they have an office full of people handling the administrative part of that fiasco. Supposedly, they're about 15% ahead of expected pace with income (so far) Then the politico's will get ahold of that money and suddenly they be in the red.
