The frame replace doesn't scare you off? I'd be thinking "I hope they got all those bolts back in the right place..."

Nah not at all. Toyota dealers have replaced loads of frames at this point. They know, quite well, how it's done. I wish my frame was replaced. The newer the frame, the better.

Very nice find!!! This has me tempted to start begging the misses....too bad I am already in the process of begging for a boat I found...

I see he has a Wheelers sticker in the back window but makes no reference to any parts/upgrades he would have purchased from them.

This. The only way I would get a first gen is if the frame was recently replaced or going to be.

That's my truck. Had a lift (883s in front, All Pro standard in rear) but was removed when the frame was replaced. My original plan was to go all out after the new frame... spindle gussets, ADS, TC UCAs, etc. But then I had my daughter. With three kids (4yo, 2yo, and now 2mo) the truck is no longer a viable option for the family camping trip we normally take.
I recently purchased a 2005 GX470 in excellent condition and will be building this over time for the family trips. The third row will come in handy!!
