Limited Slip Diff

2010 Black Tacoma TRD, 3" toytech lift, 33" nittos with fuel Mavericks,magnaflow exhaust.

So I recently blew up my diff in my truck, which is an Auto Limited Slip, and the other day I picked up a mechanical limited slip diff out of an 06 Tacoma.. so long story short now I'm wondering if I put in this new mechanical diff will it be safe to use or will it completely wreck this diff, please let me know if you have any ideas or experience with this.
