95 Tacoma

I have a 95 Tacoma with 15" wheels but I found a smoking deal on a wheel/ tire combo in 16".. Do I loose or gain anything by going to 16's ? The tires are less than an inch taller than my 31's and a bit narrower so that's kinda a wash. Anyway will the 16's have any adverse affects.

Nope, as long as they're the correct bolt pattern, center bore and offset/backspacing you're good No issues going to 16" wheels.
