TSB leafs too soft?

Went for a 600km drive yesterday. Hitting frost heaves and bumps on the highway the rear of my truck is hitting the bump stops, with some extra clothes, tools and a cooler in the back. Are the TSB leaf springs that weak?

Or do I need a 1.5" aal to make this truck useable?

 

Unfortunately the tsb 3+1 set is not much better than the 2+1 set they replaced. How long have you had them on? If they're new, put an aal on them. If they're old and already sagging, the aal will just be a band aid supporting the whole pack, and will also eventually fail. I did a 1.5" progressive aal when tsb pack was new new, and with a cap w/ a rack and a bed mat they're still right at the height they were 3 years ago.

 

Well that is pretty horrible. The new leafs are less than a month old and have never hauled anything.
