Hey guys, so for the past few weeks I have been looking to get some method race wheels for my truck. It seems like there isn't a single set of 17'' standards left in San Diego, and method is back ordered. The shop where I am getting my 3'' lift installed reccomanded looking into the eagle alloys. I was wondering if anybody had any experience with these wheels. I am looking at these:

I am very interested to see what you guys have to say. Thanks!

I saw that too but the should be OK unless he want's to run gusseted spindles or 315 tires. OP Eagle makes good wheels BTW

What is the 4.75'' issue? Sorry for my ignorance. I plan on just keeping my 6112 3'' lift nothing crazy.
Thank you for your input @mach1man001

It's the backspacing of the wheel, 4.75 isnt much different from factory, most wheels with a modest offset are about 4.3-4.5" they'll be just a touch inside the fenders with 4.75" no biggie really. It would just not work for me personally.

They could but I believe your smallest option is bora .75" spacers and that obviously brings you too a 4" offset. You'll be past your flares. If I had to have them rims that's what I would do, but keep in mind you'll be opening a can of worms when it's comes to rubbing.

To me nothing. Nothing at all. I'm not one to like my wheel/tire stick out past the wheel wells.

The back spacing is about the same as I run with my FJ Cruiser and 1st gen Tacoma wheels. Like I said in my original post the only reason there would be a problem is if you want to weld gussets on your spindles or if you want to go to a 35" tire. For what it sounds like you want to do you should be totally fine to run them as they are. Remember that they have about a 1/2" further out and are at least 1 inch wider than a stock wheel so they will already be sticking out a little bit more than stock as they are.

4.75BS is great IMO on the 9" width. 0 to -12mm offset is ideal on the Tacoma, and that BS spec puts it smack in the middle at -6mm

On another note, that AE wheel looks just like a knock off method double standard wheel

Ya see all the numbers get confusing, I didn't catch the 9" width.
