I feel uneducated. Why lift a 2wd truck?

I have no use for a 4x4. I don't do any off road, I live in the city, all my driving is on highways, and don't have time to search for trails and all that. Plus it was cheaper than an trd offroad 4x4 or sport for that matter. And if I ever do go somewhere to trails I have the clearance and can still get down in the mud (not too deep) and have someone pull me out if needed.

Understood. I'm just saying if that had been me, I would have started with a SR5 4x4. Then gone after the lift and looks later. There are tons of fun places in the countryside around San Antonio. Not to mention the rest of Texas and the US. Get out of the freaking city. Although I do admit you can find decent tacos, margaritas, and chicas in San Antonio. :D

Haha nah I get what you mean. I debated getting a 4x4 sr5 instead of the 2wd but at the time I thought about it and realized what I need a truck for a 2wd would be good for me and I saved a couple thousand and that allowed me to get my lift. I don't mind rwd and in our Tacoma group here, there's a lot of prerunners that go out to the rim and they still get to have some fun. I try to get out every time I can but with a 9 month old I'm limited on what I can do lol. You know where the good stuff is!! Once this truck is paid off I'll go get me a 4x4, maybe there will be a better model in a few years problem free straight from the factory lol.

This was my last truck. Been there, done that. It'll always be a 4x4 from here on out though. Nice to have it when you need it.

Nice. Yea It's good to have because you never know when you'll need it. But my wife has a 16' f150 fx4 so I have that to use when needed lol

Nice truck! I might have been tempted to get an OR if they had a blue one on the lot! My SR5 4x4 is perfect for my needs though. Enjoy!

Here is my 2017 Blue TRD Sport parked next to my 2015 TRD Off Road at switch time at the dealer. The dealer called me with the "I can put you in a new one for what your paying for yours now". It actually was true and turned out to be less. Enjoying the 2017 alot.

Spring is drawing closer. I figured it was time to wash the pollen off. I got her looking nice and clean. I love this shade of blue!

I just got my BBP about 3 weeks ago and I'm trying to decide on nerf bars. Which ones do you have? I like these

Here's mine...got it about a month ago. Traded a 2010 Mercedes C300 Sport (manual). Couldn't be happier! Now I just need to find some nerf bars so my girlfriend will stop nagging me about it! I really don't want them, but....you know.

If you like the shiny ones I bought 5" polished Lund. Also come in black. 14 months on them.
