No brake control pigtail on 2016 towing package!

    Same here. My sales guy even held it up, explained its purpose and placed it in my glove box.

    I thought it was for the brake controller as well, but it's for the tailgate camera!

    LOL my dealer told me that was for the trailer brake controller too. :rofl:I installed a switchpro last weekend and I saw the pigtail and connector for the trailer brake controller underneath the dash on drivers side.

    I used the factory pigtail on my '09. Easy installion. I found a pigtail on Amazon for my '16, but purchased one at a local rv dealer. My son pulled the driver's kick panel to find the connector. PITA!

    Just went through all of the above. My new 2017 has tailgate plug cap, but no pigtail. It does have pre-wired plug behind kick plate. You'd think "Tow package "= that little $2.00 part. Oh No, says salesperson. It's $19.00 to you now.
