you should run a little bit of toe in on a truck to counter act steer ahead, if you run zero toe in then your front tires are actually \ / when you are driving.

Yes. Where the original spot where my stock bumps hit I drilled and tapped for the new bumps.

Correct....place I go to sets toe to 1/16 toe in. More if you have sloppy inner or outer tie rods....though you should change them if you do.

anyone have any info on the Ford gas tank that goes between the rear frame rails on the First gens? Is it worth it or to just do a full cell?

Anybody know the differences in mounting points between a 3rd gen and a 2nd? Have a kit for a second was possibly interested in putting on a 3rd gen... Curious the difference?

    Thanks

If your not worried about racing or anything, I would run the ford one. Fuel cells are a pain in the ass, they rust out, the foam rots, the pickup tube cracks etc. Much more maintanence

Behind/above the glove box, mine had similar symptoms as yours. I also couldn't get it out of 4wd hi/lo when it did finally engage. I ended up having to put in a FJ case with twin sticks

If you deleted ABS entirely did you relocate the speed sensor to the T-case?

How are you California guys getting fuel cells to pass smog? Any pictures of the fuel pickups and the fuel cell tops.

    - Total Chaos 3.5 Long travel kit - Fox 2.5 coilovers w/ resis -Prerunner bumper -Fiberglass front fenders -Fiberwerx tt bedsides - Dmz Sua - fox 2.5x16 triple bypasses
No cons for 3.5 kit since you don't care about the extra width. Total chaos/camburg are both great kits. Dtf makes an awesome kit too, I think dirt king does as well and solo motorsports. Total Chaos is pretty good if you call the shop they'll usually answer, or drive up to the shop in corona. Ive done that to pick up parts on the fly, actually a totally cool shop. The guys there are very helpful. Now you get to decide if you want a fabricated spindle, if you're 2wd, (higher ride height and you'll be able to run 35s or 37s, and of course STRONGER). It seems you want to keep it relatively simple since you were considering a plus two kit right? If you want to run stock gusseted spindle and a simple 3.5 kit running 33's then total chaos or camburg are great choices.

Everyone will say to skip the all pro kit.

Also personal preference, I say go with which ever kit has an integrated lower uniball. I think total chaos finally switched over (with their race kit), personally the uniball adapter can get annoying. I prefer it integrated into the lower arm, only thing I would change and thats a very very minor gripe.
