Well the water heater installer just called and is going to be 30 minutes late. I been waiting since 12. Appointment was 12-4. It's 4. If he quotes me a bad price I'm going to guilt him into a better price and if that doesn't work I'll tell him to get the fuck out of my house for wasting my time.

 

This. Although, I felt I looked good with that filter. I wouldn't actually pierce it though because I have the type of boyfriend who would not hesitate to clip a leash to it and literally lead me around by the nose.

I offered to replace my friends a few weeks ago, he didn't want to go 1 day without hot water, hired a plumber. $1,000 ! He asked after the fact how much I would've charged him, I said $200. It takes about 2 hours to do.

 

I've always installed my Own. Last time I installed it with screw on hoses. Going to be a easy job next time for replacement. No more soldering.

 

I was only without water for a couple hours. Ran to pick one up and brought it home to install. Easy job after you've done it once.
