nothing will happen with the Tacoma, they wont change the engine anytime soon since they just rolled it out. Most I can see happening is maybe reprogramming it to boost power numbers but consumers are more MPG conscience than power hungry. One of the reasons why I went to a Tacoma was because it gets nearly twice the mileage my Jeep got. If you want full sized truck power go get a full size truck

I think about 1/3 of the cars made for the US are made for California? California has the right under the clean air act to set it's own emissions standards if it so desires. This is law and won't be changed easily or by executive order.

Unless Cali changes it's standards, the auto companies aren't changing shit, so calm down.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Supposedly Trump is gonna kill that off, too.

He is mainly referring to Cali emissions standards. The population alone warrants attention from the auto manufacturers.

It means that I removed posts that were solely about the structure of the government and policies, but you can believe I deleted content specifically to stifle contrary beliefs if it gives you the warm and fuzzies.

It's not about where the cars are made, but who they are made for. Cali is the largest single economy in the US, and dwarfs most countries. The auto makers will meets California's emissions standards.

Cali is a booming economy compared to most of the US. I believe they had over 3% growth last year, which again puts most of the world and most of the US to shame. As Cali goes so goes the nation. As a New Hampshire resident I'm not so happy about that, but it's a fact.
