Grilles for 2016 Tacoma

Hey,

Bought a 2016 Tacoma in July.

Looking to replace the grille to something a little more winter friendly, and appealing. Can't stand the chrome factory grille. Any suggestions on places to order a custom grille from? Living in Canada.

 

curious... what makes a grille more "winter friendly"?

 

Blanket and gift card from Tim Hortons. (Obviously)

 

Probably not metal and more likely plastic due to rust resistance. Pro grille if you got the $$$.

Winter friendly ... we just had a blizzard yesterday and my truck was thanking me for using 4WD-LO and 4WD-HI in the same trip.

Almost had to get my snatch rope out .... naw anyone driving in this shit on un-plowed roads needs to get stuck and re-think driving a 2wd car in that much snow... really?? Unbelievable, 10" not plowed... and cars.. OMG I thought I was going to get stuck BEHIND some idiot. They actually stopped at the stop sign on flat road got stuck.. hahahahaha.. I had to drive around them! Boom .... ummm do you need a tow? Sorry no tow trucks around in the SNOW bro, whats wrong with you? State of Emergency specifically saying "don't drive" nothing is open. Lets go for a ride! Wow...and cold as balls too so when you get stuck yer going to freeze... what's wrong with people? There isn't 10" of clearance in a 2wd car.

For the record we "had" to go out and go x-country skiing... a bro emergency.

 

plastdip would be your winter friendly setup.. literally protects whats underneath

 

Steel grilles are fine for the winter as long as you take care of them, If you don't want to take care of it, get something plastic.
