loading 2 bikes with the topper and the tailgate pad is easy if they have dropper post. I did it with two large framed 29ers for reference.

As far as removing the front wheel, I haven't done that since I made the switch to a thru axle in the front so I can't really say. but if you want the Softopper is the way to go for tailgate pad AND a topper. the bestop i had was a pain because I had to keep removing the rear window, and Honestly the raceface one held the bikes so well i hardly strapped them down.

Thanks. Just for clarity, do you put the bikes in with the tailgate closed, or do you swing the tailgate up between the fork and downtube while holding the bikes in place? Thanks.

Tailgate closed, and the second bike has to be around 90* to get it the rear tire to clear, but once it does there it plenty of room!! hope this helps!

doooood..:hattip::drool::drool:I LOVE the wheel/tire combo..

I'm in a predicament with my current wheels.. and have been looking into other options lately for plain wheels with a ring. Was talking to OMF.. but thought of this route as well. I also like the idea of having them removable like my current MT classics. When they get beat up I just take them off, hammer them straight, and paint them like new.. they really do protect my wheels, especially the valve stem. Wondering how difficult it would be to make them removable...

    oh, and.. Sub'd

Thanks! I'm honored! I love your build!

So I abuse the crap outta these wheels and then just paint over them when they start to bother me lol. Maybe after this weekend I'll take photos of how many gouges these things have taken from rocks.

    Haha thanks!
