    SOLD
Have a warn xd9000 winch with cracks on roller bars one chip on one end but its a washer on it (does not affect the winch at all) looking to maybe get rid of for the right price.

I'm selling because my buddy just gave me a warn 10k if not sold I'm just going to put on wife's jku

I don't really know price I should ask.... I know the newer model of this winch is $975 on Amazon with wire

So I'm going to say $700 shipped

Nice winch, congrats to whoever bought it. I have an older XD9000. I think the revision before this one. Still going strong, just rebuilt it last summer.

Those bars aren't expensive. Warn p/n 32408. They are aluminum so not the most robust material.

    https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/wrn-32408/overview/

Warn p/n for the bolts is 60451 but they're just 5/16-18 x 1.25" long so I don't know that you need to get the Warn ones necessarily.

    https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/wrn-60451

BTW, the bars come untapped and are supposed to be cut in place, the bolts are actually thread cutting.

Two different factor 55 thimble options.
Do you think the spliced line will hold up as strong as the non-spliced.

If you know how to properly splice then it's just as strong. You know the "Splicer" requires splicing right?

Yes, I know the splicer requires the synthetic rope to be spliced, in order to fit in the thimble. That’s probably why it’s cheaper than the thimble that requires no splicing.

I was just uncertain if even properly spliced rope would be as strong as rope that had never been altered.

 Okay cool, thats exactly why its cheaper. Every single synthetic winch line is spliced back onto itself, just a matter if it was done by a professional or not. Some research and some practice and you should be good to go, also good to know how to splice if you are planning to run synthetic anyway in case of a break.
