    I have always seen the cement color with a hint of blue (I guess), as my color eye is crap. But that looks more grey to me.

    Yeah it's grey. Just wishful thinking :). Looks and feels great. Only issue is that it doesn't have a collar to hold up the leather boot.

    Props to all you guys with manual trannies. Last Toyota I owned was a stick and it was the worst part of the vehicle. Thats the primary reason I never even looked at getting my Tacoma with one.
    Glad to hear it seems to have been improved. I like the auto box, but appreciate enthusiast ordering the stick just to keep the option available.

    I'm young and have only owned 2 Tacomas. A 97 4cyl 5 speed and the 2016 Sport 6 speed. I've had zero issues with transmissions with both. Seems most vehicles I've had BAD experiences with had automatic transmissions... (Jeeps mostly though. And everyone complaining about the Turd Gen Autos.)

    I have a '17 M/T with about 6k miles now. It's my favorite vehicle I've owned. Absolutely love driving the stick! truck handles great in the snow, and I've always loved the look of the Tacoma.

    Just had the 5k mile service done, and I've had no problems with my truck. Engine is good, transmission has been great, fun to drive. It feels like it'll last for as long as I want it to.

    Get the manual!

    What RPM are you shifting between 1st and second? It seems like I get a little dealt between these gears. Or do you just start in second?
