Okay. In all seriousness, I'm not a fan of the hoops just because it reminds me of the All Pro bumper for our trucks, and I really don't like it at all. I'd just go simple and do something like Relentless.

I get that. Not even sure if I like it on first gens. There is a guy in CO with a 2nd gen that has Bruteforce hybrid and hoops and it looks good! But it looks decent not good IMO. Probably leave it alone, is the cheaper option

x2. Outer/headlight hoops make the bumpers look drastically bigger on 1st gens, not in a good way. Makes our small rigs look even smaller.

I like it! Now saying that, I wouldn't go full hoops myself. But its not horrendous

I'll probably leave it alone, much cheaper.

It's kinda a toss up, but it'll probably stay this way

That's true, but I'd have to clean off the PC of the bumper and while I'm at it may as well take it all off and rattle can it. Get in touch with Billy and then have somebody weld them on. OOORRRRR just leave it. Maybe down the road but for now it'll be left alone

Just need to find a damn DD already and things can start happening

Alright I figured I'd stop being lazy and update this bish.

So I've been wanting to do the Tundra upgrade for literally ever. Just kept pushing it off, pushing it off. I was gonna go through Amazon and snag that deal but good God that red did not match my color scheme I've got going (sliver, blue and black). So I looked else where. I found multiple builds that went with Napa brakes and I wanted the slotted rotors. So I went ballsy and decided to spend big. Here's my parts list for the upgrade all 2004 Tundra type:

    Left caliper:

    https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/SEBSE3535

    Right caliper:

    https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/SEBSE3536

    Rotors:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CGPKLQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Pads:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CGRN9S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    SS brake lines: Price:

    Calipers: $300
    Rotors: $200
    Pads: $60
    Brake Lines: $70

    Core Return: +$70
    Buy Calipers Online: +$20

    Grand Total: ~$540

So I stock piled parts for about 2-3 weeks then went over to @bryanbyers28 place to knock this shit out. I fully planned on doing a full write up as well. So we began to take everything off and it was all moving great.

Fucking things were huge compared to stock

As we get the driver side all buttoned back up except the caliper bolt, the unthinkable happened. The last bolt, and I mean the last damn bolt to go in on the driver side sheared right off. :annoyed:

I was dumb founded, I could not believe that this happened. But good news for me is it was Friday and I had all weekend to get this bitch out. Went down to Toyota and snagged four new bolts just to be safe. So we start drilling and trying to knock it out and then we get some extractors and what not. Guess what, I fractured those bitches in there too. I was starting to get super pissed, and it was getting late Friday so we started looking for shops to call tomorrow to get this bitch out.

We knocked out the other side just incase we were stretched for time. It went on like a breeze, super easy nothing was going wrong. This was a blessing because that day was the worst I've had in a while. I barely even ate dinner that night, I didn't even want to drink beer (which is not like me at all) I was so depressed and worrying if we could even get this bitch out.

The next morning we went to GAS Auto Shop down the road hoping they could get the bitch out. Every time I would look over at them working they just seemed like it was not going to come out. So I started a back up plan, look for a new spindle. I knew Toyota wasn't going to have them, and well for $500 I was not gonna pay that. I also knew that no junkyards would have a 4x4 driver side spindle because well it's Georgia, "we don't need 4x4" or they'd be picked clean.

Thank God about an hour later they finally drilled all that shit out and told me to go snag a tap because they didn't have the corresponding tap. So finally after all that shit we got the everything back to normal. Oh and the shop didn't even charge me, super thankful for the guys down at GAS! I'll be doing some business with them shortly :spy:

So we rush back home eat some lunch, knock out the driver side. Finally got all of that shit done. Bled the brakes and then went to test it. Holy shit were they spongey as hell. It was so weird but damn do they stop much better. Not to mention my old rotors were warped a little. But damn so much for a full fledge write up. There are plenty of other write ups out there if somebody needs it. But if you've got any questions DO NOT hesitate to ask. I love helping out

Oh and some pics of the truck in it's soon to be new home

And started a patch collection, shit is addicting :anonymous:

Mostly just Star Wars stuff and some other funny ones I like
