Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
Hey Mike - Is Archers the one you and I tried last year and then backed down and were subsequently shown up by that group of Chevies and Jeeps blowing past to the top (the bastards!)?

For those of you without a CB, from my personal experience I recommend this one: Midland 78-822 It works great as a regular handeld with batteries, or with the included attachment for cigarette lighter power and external antenna hookup. I picked up a magnetic external whip locally, and it works just fine. The speaker is a little quiet though, so I'm picking up this compatible (supposedly) Cobra external mic/speaker to try this year.

Also just priced out new rubber yesterday...damn these things look badass and super grippy. $1016 for 265/75R16 mounted at Discount Tire. Think I might get those just before the trip.

It was Firebreak 5. It changes constantly; some days you can do it and others you don't. I don't mind being shown up as long as everything is functioning on the drive home.

So how's the road noise? I currently have the Discoverer ATPs and they've been pretty quiet. I don't really care if the road noise is more as I always have the radio on, I was just curious as to what your perception is.

I have not. I ran whatever the previous owner had on it until I got a flat, then replaced all 4 with the ATP's. They've done pretty well, but I feel like they could be a little more grippy. Guess I'll just have to jump in and get them and hope for the best.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Are we getting to the point we may need multiple camp sites?

I say this now, but our list of 16 will dwindle by the time the trip starts... as usual.

I think you will enjoy them-- especially if you spend time off pavement, I was torn with the new nitto ridge grapplers since its a hybrid mt/at but the cost didnt justify them.

@Bennett707 @Chickenmunga looks like the group site is available. Want me to put a reservation on it? Its a bit more than many of us WANT to spend, but its at least intended for up to 20 people and starts at 6 vehicles.

Says $50 a night. I am not sure if that is good with many people.

And it is right next to the main "day use parking area" which I am sure many people wouldn't mind us parking next to...
