To street legal or not street legal... CA Problems

    2015 TRD OR AC, MGM, 4x4, 6spd MT
    Looking to get a desert bike, specifically looking at the WR450. I really like the new ones with fuel injection, but those cannot be street legalized in CA (this fucking state is insane).

    My other option is to get an older used one that was converted to street legal. But that will be sub-2004. How do you guys like your WRs?

    Thoughts? How often do you really need street legal for desert riding out in California?
